What impact has/will this training have on you?
I have new tools to practice with to make my journey as an officer safer and more
enjoyable.
Taught me
to keep an open mind.
I’ll be able to take this info back to my unit and share with my coworkers that aren’t able to attend.
I can better handle stressful situations.
Gave me the tools to deal with staff problems and resolve issues in a calm manner.
Learn to value other’s ideas.
Realizing the areas I can improve myself and
others.
Provided tools; such as communication to use not only at work, but in personal life.
Unknown, hopefully a positive impact on me, my co-workers and facility.
Additional Comments
This class should be more often.
A full understanding on why this type of class was not offered to starting O/C
Outstanding class!
I liked the Adjective Name, placing everyone on the same level from the beginning.
We are taught not to be personal with our coworkers. At times, even sharing our first names, made this class uncomfortable.
Would like to have this class as a supervisor class. I think this would have led to ‘free speaking’ on several of the topics.
Instructor was knowledgeable about the subjects and was
enthusiastic.
Great teacher/instructor – gave information in a
way that was understood by all in the class. Also the way he let us speak our minds and nothing would be held against us.
